Pupil wellbeing

Our Commitment

At Richard Cloudesley School, pupil wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do. We create a safe, inclusive environment where every child feels valued, supported, and empowered to find their voice and reach their potential

Our Philosophy: A Holistic View of Health

We recognize that having a child with a disability has a profound impact on family life. Our mission is to support the whole family ecosystem by treating Mental Health with the same importance as Physical Health.

Parity of Health

We believe mental health, like physical health, varies over time and can be protected and improved with the right support.

Empowering Agency

We believe every young person can be taught the skills to recognize and express their feelings authentically and safely.

Breaking Stigma

We work systemically with children, families, and staff to promote good mental health and reduce the stigma of asking for help.
