Richard Cloudesley School
Richard Cloudesley School is a highly specialist school for children and young people aged 2–19 with complex physical, sensory, medical and learning need.
We operate across two campuses: Golden Lane for early years and primary pupils, and Tudor Rose for secondary and sixth form. Both sites are warm, inclusive and designed to meet the diverse needs of our pupils.
We are proud of our richly diverse school community, where families join us from across London. Visitors often comment on the welcoming atmosphere and the strong sense of care that underpins everything we do. Parents and professionals choose our school because of our expertise, our approachable staff, and the personalised support we provide for every learner.
Communication is at the heart of our work. Many of our pupils use Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), and we ensure each child has the right tools and support to express themselves. Our staff work hand‑in‑hand with therapists to embed meaningful communication opportunities throughout the day, helping every pupil develop confidence and independence.
We are deeply committed to providing a compassionate, safe and ambitious learning environment. Our curriculum is tailored, therapeutic and designed to help pupils build essential life skills, independence and personal wellbeing. We work closely with families and health professionals to ensure each pupil is supported to thrive.
Above all, Richard Cloudesley School is a place where pupils are valued, families are supported and staff work together to create a community in which every young person can grow, achieve and belong.
